In June 2014 the Grand Chalon Conference and Tourist Office was awarded Category 1 classification.

Tourism Quality Marque

In December 2013 the Grand Chalon Conference and Tourist Office was awarded the Tourism Quality Marque.

Accessible Tourism

The Tourist Office has been fully certified to receive disabled visitors since October 2011.

The following are in place at the Chalon sur Saône Tourist Office:

Reduced Mobility:

Entryway inclined plus ramp with banister to reach the exhibition room; reduced mobility access to the toilets (NB these are not public toilets, but we will allow access); ease of movement between display racks and to the reception desk; lowered counters for wheelchair users or people of short stature.

Visual impairment

Call documents available in Braille and in large character format available to the public; signals (blue contrast coloured tape) on the electronic entry glass door; ridged bands on the floor to mark the ramp and banister at the entry to the exhibition room.

Deaf or hearing impairment

Sound amplifying magnetic loop

Learning difficulties

Signs with pictograms on the display racks

 

Bike Friendly Labels

Certain places where you see this logo are certified as bike friendly.

They are equipped for all the different styles of cycling and have all the necessary equipment
