The first signpost is against the wall of the castle park, village side. Step by step - Exit the car park on the left, then turn right on rue Saint-Laurent, towards the Château Saint-Michel (admire the chapel). - Top, mark 1: on the left, the church; go down opposite a small steep alley, rue de l'Epée. - Down the rue de l'Epée, turn right, then follow the yellow marks that lead you to the Place de la Croix Blanche. - Cross the Croix Blanche, then take the street of La Buisserolle. - At the end of the street of Buisserolle, turn frankly on the left, street of Fagot. - Landmark 2: before reaching the Grande Rue, discover the laundry, on the banks of the Thalie, near the Creux des Nazoires (cadole). - Leave the main street, on your right, facing the Post Office, rue du Bourgneuf. - Landmark 3: do not miss the entrance of the Riotte, on your left. - Landmark 4: On arrival on rue des Buis, on the left at about 20 m, take the time to see the resurgence of Thalie (off). - Retrace your steps, then follow again the yellow marks on the ground that will join a trail. - At the exit of the path, move a few meters on the road to the right, then turn left the dead end between the houses which is prolonged by a path lined with dry stone walls. - Landmark 5: at the end of the path, rue de Chèvremont, turn right and follow the medieval castle; view of Chalon, plain of the Saone. - Return to the starting point, room Polyvalente.
