This is a ritual of possession derived from Senegalese N'döep ceremonies. Wild, dark and solar, feminine and powerful... On stage, master healers and musicians make a pact with the demons: it will take more than good intentions, but sweat and powerful volume to achieve liberation and deliverance.

African percussion, didgeridoo, drums and electric bass have concocted a thick and original cocktail of sounds in the musical landscape of the time (discovered in the Spring of Bourges 2001). Little by little, the group expanded its style and sound palette with the addition of new instruments such as the Jew's harp, Brazilian beribau, flutes, guitar, keyboards, etc.
After 4 studio albums and a Live album, and a break of several years, KAOPHONIC TRIBU is celebrating its 20th anniversary and releasing a new LP: Phoen X, and working on new compositions in 2024 with a view to releasing an EP in 2025.
