The American surf wave led by the Ventures, the Challengers and the Astronauts, and their arrangements that borrow from neo-classical composition and world music are the two facets that characterise the unique sound of Les Agamemnonz. They never leave their Greek 'chitons' under any pretext, keeping their feet bare whether it's windy or snowy, getting audiences of all ages up on their feet and dancing, and - instrumental music obliges - with no language barrier!

There's no doubt about it, these four know their punk-rock classics! Mad Marx, a band from Dijon, pay tribute to the bands that marked the history of this movement throughout their first opus 'More than me'. The shadow of Dead Kennedys, The Clash, Bad Brains and Leatherface hangs over their inspired tracks like a benevolent old brother. The whole thing is led by the voice of Vinvin, ex-Heyoka, a legendary band from the blessed period of French alternative rock. Without excessive nostalgia, the whole package cuts across all the aesthetics of a scene that's still alive and kicking. In the words of Sacha Guitry: "Mad Marx, you either love him or you cook him!
