Nestled at the foot of Mont Avril culminating at 421m (panoramic viewpoint & protected site in the "Natura 2000" zone for its rich ecosystems), in the very heart of the vineyard of the famous AOC of Givry (flagships of Burgundy wines which are said to have been the favorite wine of King Henry IV!), Jambles has a unique location and a notable historical heritage (11th century Romanesque church, beautiful historic bourgeois residences, 19th century mill, wash houses, cadoles, etc.) and benefits from a magnificent landscaped setting all around (protected in ZNIEFF for its faunal & floristic riches), nestled in the hollow of a valley surrounded by vineyards, in the heart of a gentle preserved countryside mixing agriculture, nature & viticulture, between hedged meadows & beautiful wild forests. Very comfortable room. Warm country character with contemporary touches.
