It’s the holidays...and you fancy learning how to create something?  You’re in the right place; all summer long in Chalon sur Saône there are workshops in which members of the public, young or old, can participate.

The “Apprentice Potters” at the Denon Museum can discover for themselves how to make clay pots and the methods used by Neolithic potters, while the workshop “Antiquity in my image” will deal with the composition of a picture using images from ancient civilizations.

Another option: the discovery workshops initiated by the Tourist Office which form part of the summer activities programme.  There is one dedicated to the techniques of artistic wood turning, a material which provides so many different textures, as well as a workshop dedicated to the noble material that is leather.  Make your choice!
