River cruising has the double advantages of giving us a breath of fresh air and letting us take a step back from things.  There are flora and fauna, but also towns!

How does it work? Not far from the pedestrian section of the town centre in Chalon-sur-Saône, there are boats available for hire, with our without licence, at the Marina, close to Ile Saint-Laurent.

Set sail on the Saône and head upstream towards Verdun-sur-le-Doubs or downstream towards Tournus… Or you could choose a boating getway on the river Seille, with its rural mooring points in the middle of the fields and groves of the Bresse? Or perhaps a cruise along the Canal du Centre, that runs along the charming valleys of the Saône and the Loire?
