Guided tour of the town: Place Saint-Vincent, the cathedral, the cloister... Chalon-sur-Saône, capital of the Merovingian kingdom of Burgundy, was a major centre during the Middle Ages, hosting many large and importat fairs.

 
10.30am
Boat trip on the Saône;
Enjoy a moment of calm on the water and contemplate the flora and fauna as you pass by.
 
12.15pm
Lunch on the Ile Saint-Laurent on the picturesque Rue de Strasbourg which is lined with restaurants from the traditional to the exotic.
 
2.30pm
Leave for Mercurey, an internationally renowned wine-making village and one of the most important wine appellations in Burgundy.
 
3pm
Guided walk around Mercurey in the countryside around the hamlet and the church of Touches with an explanation of the different landscapes.
 
4.30pm
Tour and wine tasting at a winery:
With a glass in your hand, you will be introduced to the secrets of the vine and the magic of vinification.  Your senses will be awoken.
 
6pm
End of the day and our services
