Chapel built in 1923 for the La Colombière school, then located on rue d'Autun. This visit is an opportunity to discover a school that was attended by many people from the Chalonnais, and also to learn about the religious work of the architect and concrete contractor, at a time when sacred art was being revived in France after the separation of Church and State (1905). This visit will also give you the chance to discover or admire once again the stained glass windows in the Colombière chapel, created by Marguerite Huré.
Since 1 January 2025, you have been able to photograph the building freely, something that many of you have been asking for!
Visits must be booked in advance by calling 03 85 93 15 98 (places are limited).
