As part of their creative residency on their programme "Silhouettes Contemporaines", Bastien Pouillès and Vincent Desille are organising a family get-together to discover their atypical repertoire: accordion, lute and electric guitar!

We're taking advantage of their presence during this week in April to open the doors of the Turbine to young and old alike, and introduce them to their world. They'll be tailoring their presentation to appeal to everyone: a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with these instruments!

"Silhouettes Contemporaines" reinvents the Renaissance repertoire by putting it to the test of our modern times. How can we transform this music using today's instruments? Using a process of distortion and reinterpretation, the duo propose a re-creation of this repertoire, which spans the twelfth to the fourteenth centuries. They play with sound and instrumentation to offer an immersive journey where repertoire, improvisations and creations are one and the same, and where there are no boundaries between genres.
